The enhanced area now features a secure fence, a welcoming picnic shelter, a durable concrete pad and refreshed landscaping. A standout addition is a vibrant mural depicting a rising sun over the ocean, accompanied by the phrase “Brilliance in Diversity.”
“This project embodies the spirit of Leadership Grand Strand, bringing rising leaders together to make a tangible difference,” said Shannon Furtick, LGS Executive Director. “The new outdoor spaces provide those who are served by Ability Beyond Barriers with a welcoming area to gather and connect.”
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from Noon to 1 p.m. at Ability Beyond Barriers, 250 Victory Ln., Conway, S.C.
