I’m a Carolina girl through and through, having lived and worked in both North and South Carolina. While I’ve been fortunate to experience communities across both states, Horry County is where I was born, where I’ve spent most of my life, and the place I proudly call home. I am passionate about building relationships, supporting my community, and creating opportunities that make a lasting impact. Professionally, I am proud to be part of Santee Cooper, South Carolina’s state-owned electric and water utility, where I work alongside business, government, and community leaders to support economic growth, collaboration, and initiatives that create opportunities across our state. I am grateful for the mentors, colleagues, and friends who have supported and guided me throughout my journey and helped shape who I am today. Giving back is both a privilege and a responsibility. I believe in serving others, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities that allow people and businesses to thrive. The greatest measure of success is the positive impact we create together.

Favorite Quote and Why: At a Women in Leadership and Philanthropy conference, a quote was given out that has always resonated with me deeply. I'm paraphrasing, but it read similar to, "As you move forward, don't forget to turn around and lift others up." I'm thankful for those who lifted me along the way, and I hope to do the same for others.

Definition of a Successful Leader: To me, a successful leader is someone who creates a positive and lasting impact on others and the community. They lead with integrity, make a meaningful difference, and always strive to do what is right.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: You are worthy of good things.
