Chief Financial Officer

EVOQ Group

Grand Strand

Age 27

I grew up here in the Lowcountry and have always been passionate about the community that shaped me. After earning my bachelor's degree in financial management with a minor in accounting from Clemson University, I built my career in finance and now serve as the chief financial officer of the EVOQ Group, where I enjoy helping guide the organization’s financial strategy and long-term growth. I also own and publish Sasee Magazine, a local women's magazine dedicated to celebrating the incredible women, businesses, and stories that make our community unique. Long-term, I hope to continue growing as a leader and CFO while expanding Sasee Magazine into new markets to share even more inspiring stories. I love being able to support local businesses and shine a light on the people who make the Lowcountry such a special place to call home. Outside of work, you'll usually find me on a walk with my two dogs, at the beach, in the gym, or chasing a sunset.

Favorite Quote and Why: “A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.” – John A. Shedd. This quote reminds me that growth only happens when we're willing to leave what's comfortable. The moments that have shaped me most have all come from saying yes to opportunities that felt intimidating, and it encourages me to keep taking on challenges that help me grow personally and professionally.

Definition of a Successful Leader: To me, a successful leader is someone who helps others become the best version of themselves. It's not about having all the answers or being the loudest person in the room; it's about leading with integrity, building trust, and creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: I would tell my 18-year-old self to stop worrying so much about having everything figured out. The biggest opportunities and the most meaningful growth will come from taking chances, stepping outside your comfort zone, and trusting that you are more capable than you realize.
