I South Atlantic Bank in July of 2019. Beginning as a portfolio manager in the main office, I later moved to the commercial lending team in 2021. In March of 2026, I was promoted to market executive for the Murrells Inlet area. Prior to joining SAB, I served as a financial analyst at FIG Partners in Atlanta, Georgia. During my time at FIG, I helped advise community banks on strategic options, capital planning, and execution of investment banking transactions. I am a graduate of The Citadel with a degree in business administration, and I have completed The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. I currently serve on the board of directors for United Way of Horry County and the South Carolina Bankers Association's Emerging Leaders Division. I am also a member of the Leadership Grand Strand Class XLI.
Favorite Quote and Why: "Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation." I love this quote because you may never know when the right moment or opening will appear in life. If you do the hard work and continue to improve each and every day, you'll be ready for whatever life throws at you. Don't wait for something to happen, be ready!
Definition of a Successful Leader: Lead by example, don't ask someone to do something you're not willing to do yourself. Leadership is earned by gaining the respect of those who want to follow you. To lead a team effectively, you have to walk the talk!
Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: Enjoy the ride! Meet new people, listen more, ask questions, don't be afraid to be yourself!
