Business Operations Supervisor

HTC

Grand Strand

Age 29

I’m Wyatt Culler, the business operations supervisor at HTC, where I enjoy finding ways to improve operations, support our teams, and help deliver great service to our customers. Outside of my career, I’m passionate about entrepreneurship and own Palmetto Shores Home & Outdoor, a company focused on home renovations and outdoor living projects. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2019 with a degree in business, and staying connected to my alma mater has become one of the most rewarding parts of my professional journey. I currently serve on the Coastal Carolina University Alumni Board of Directors and the Wall Emerging Leaders Council. I’m also a McLeod Seacoast Fellow, a graduate of the 2023 Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Industry Awareness Course, and an active member of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce's Grand Strand Young Professionals. My goal is to continue growing as a leader, building successful businesses, and creating opportunities that make a lasting impact in our community. I believe success isn't just measured by professional achievements but by the difference you make in the lives of others and the place you call home.

Favorite Quote and Why: "To whom much is given, much is required." – Luke 12:48. This quote reminds me that every opportunity in life comes with a responsibility. I don't see my education, career, leadership roles, or business opportunities as personal achievements alone. I see them as gifts that I'm called to steward well for the benefit of others. The more influence we're entrusted with, the greater our responsibility to serve, lead with integrity, and leave things better than we found them. I've been fortunate to have mentors who invested in me, a community that believed in me, and opportunities that have shaped the person I am today. Because of that, I believe I have an obligation to invest that same time, energy, and leadership into others. Whether it's leading teams at HTC, building businesses that create opportunities, or serving organizations throughout the Grand Strand, my purpose is to use what I've been given to help others succeed. I don't want my legacy to be defined by titles, awards, or financial success. I want it to be measured by the people I encouraged, the opportunities I created, and the lasting impact I made on the community that has given so much to me. If the next generation has more opportunities because of something I helped build, then I'll know I've lived out the meaning of this quote.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: If I could give my 18-year-old self one piece of advice, it would be to stop worrying about having everything figured out. Focus on becoming the kind of person you want to be, and the opportunities will follow. Success doesn't happen overnight, and the most meaningful accomplishments take time. I would also remind myself that relationships matter just as much as results. Invest in people, seek out mentors, and never underestimate the value of listening and learning from others. The people you meet and the way you treat them will open more doors than anything you accomplish on your own. Most importantly, don't chase success for the sake of success. Chase purpose. Build something that makes a difference, serve your community, and leave every place and every person better than you found them. If you do that consistently, the rest will take care of itself.
