Re:Build Expanding Operations in York County

Re:Build, an integrated engineering and manufacturing company, announced plans to expand its advanced composites manufacturing operations in York County. The company’s approximately $20 million investment will create 150 skilled manufacturing and engineering jobs.

Re:Build partners with companies to design, engineer, and manufacture complex products across the medical, aerospace and defense, energy, electrification, robotics and automation, and environmental markets. The company operates 12 locations across the U.S., including its existing facility in Rock Hill.

At its added York County property, located at 2021 Williams Industrial Blvd. in Rock Hill, Re:Build is adding a new 130,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility.

The plant will support the company’s ongoing growth in the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. Operations are expected to be online in November 2026.

“When a company already doing business in York County chooses to expand its investment here, it says a great deal about our community," said York County Councilwoman Christi Cox. "Re:Build’s expansion represents an approximately $20 million investment and 150 new jobs, while adding advanced manufacturing capabilities that serve important American industries, including aerospace and defense. We are pleased to see Re:Build continue to invest in York County.”

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded a $100,000 Set-Aside grant to York County to assist with the costs of building improvements.
