Bruce Bailey

Bruce Bailey serves as president and CEO of Tidelands Health, beginning his career with the organization in 1999 after serving as administrator of Abbeville County Memorial Hospital in Abbeville, South Carolina, for six years. His previous experience also includes administrative responsibility at health facilities in West Virginia, North Carolina, and Virginia. Additionally, Bailey is chair of the South Carolina Hospital Association’s Health Equity Council. He has served as a member of the American Hospital Association’s board of trustees and chairman of the association’s Regional Policy Board 4. He is an active member and former chairman of the SCHA board of trustees and also serves as chairman of Solvent Networks. Bailey has served as co-chair of the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina, and is active on the boards of Partnership Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corp., and Horry County Community Land Trust.
