Meredith Holmes

To Meredith Holmes, public service is a family tradition, being a third-generation public servant serving the citizens of the Loris area. Holmes serves as the planning and zoning director for the City of Loris, and has been with the City of Loris since 2022. She also serves as the city’s Floodplain Manager and as an active participant in related area task forces. Her main responsibilities include reviewing applications for land development, zoning matters, and serving as the departmental staff for both planning and zoning boards. Outside of work, Holmes enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and their son, Eli. She also enjoys visiting her grandmother and dad, who retired after serving the Loris area.
